I bought the B2618 (18.5lb) after my Odyssey PC680 battery couldn't turn my motor over in single digit weather. I have limited space in my engine bay and keeping a battery in a small package was a must. Oh, the cold cranking amps is almost twice that of the Odyssey battery, plus it's only one inch thicker in size. Here's a couple pics of my engine bay when I had the Odyssey...

I'm sorry. Maybe I'm just battery stupid.
Explain why I would want this battery over stock? (unless for extreme weight savings- I get that much)
And I have the stock stereo system. Just in case the reason is related to that.

The OEM battery in most Scion cars is apx. 40lbs. The Braille 15lb saves you 25lbs on the front end of the car, looks much cooler, and frees some space for future projects.
Unlike the OEM battery, Braille batteries have no liquid in them which means you can mount them on their side or even upside down. The lack of liquid also means no potential acid spills, etc.
The Braille 15lb and 11lb can definitely be used in daily driven Scions and will work very well as replacement batteries.

Good luck and have fun with all your projects everyone!
