Default Break-in period and modding

I have 100 miles on my car and the 1000 mile break in period seems so far away. I'm planning to get a CC short-shifter and TRD exhaust. Would it be best to wait til atleast 1000 miles before doing these? Maybe I'll focus on suspension or get HIDs in the meantime.

You can get the TRD Exhaust immediately. They come from the factory with it pre-installed, if you request it. Same with short shifters...

Go the suspension route. Your tC will handle and corner better and you'll definitely feel the difference. I would do that instead of HIDs. (But its YOUR $$$. ) You can find better (more hp gains) exhausts for less $$$. Do a "SEARCH" on exhausts and you'll find many options out there.

just a FYI, the trd exhaust adds no power but adds some sound. go with a catback system which would cost about the same as the overpriced trd exhaust. also, get the short shifter, i love my cc ss. you could also go with some better tires and suspension mods as well.

Suspension sounds good. I was all ready to buy the trd springs + rear sway combo on mcgeorgeparts until they jacked up the price from $254 to $375. Whats the deal with that?? My wheel gap is seriously bothering me..it seems even higher on my 07 than my friend's 06. The only difference I can think of is different tires..bridgestones vs. yokohamas.
