I believe all exhausts fits models 05-08, since they haven't done any modification on the exhaust system yet.

Yes that shuld fit the 08. Tanabe claim to not know becuz they do not want to tell you anything worng. stil not 100 percent sure though. Dont want u to get bad mad lol. and GEO what do u mean full tanabe set-up? tanabe only makes axlebacks. If you have the Tsudo catback , u culd take the N1 style axleback off, and throw on the Tanabe . That is exactly what i did. The tanabe axleback sounds MUCH better then the tsudo. Less Rasp more bass. If u have headers, i am pretty sure it should quiet it down, but i am 100 percent sure the tanabe would do a better job then the tsudo axleback. Especially since u stated the Tanabe Medalion touring? that one is much better then the concept G. If u want that deeper tone.

Oh wow, I thought for the $500 tanabe medallion touring it included everything from the spipe back not including the s pipe. Am I wrong? If so thats one expensive muffler.

Yeah the medalion touring is i think the most expensive axleback. Very sophisticated peice though. Yet deep down you can say metal is metal. But i got a bonus at work on my check awhile back, so i was like hey y not, and i got it. Fully satisfied though. Top quality.

Greddy has a new catback exhaust now for the tC...its called TiC. It has a titanium burnt tip. Might wanna check it out on the Greddy website.

some companies are considering the resonator in the mid pipe to be the "rear cat" So they can call their axle back a cat back from the "rear cat".

Injen sais they same about their exhaust:
"Scion Cat Back Exhaust System 60mm W/4'' S.S. Tip (Cat located at rear of axle)"

I just bought the Medallion G yesterday and it fits PERFECTLY on an 08. The sound is deep and not loud at all. It wouldn't hit loud until it's past 3000 RPM. Past that, it's a semi-loud aggressive growl. I don't have headers installed so the sound is genuine and I don't like loud exhausts. Especially on a semi-stock car. It doesn't scream "Look! I'm over here!" to everyone including cops.

Does this exhaust angle to the side or straight out?

looks angled? U sure itz tanabe? lol the axlebacks designed for the scion tc are Tanabe concept G and Tanabe Medalion touring. The tanabe concept G is a straight thru canister style exhaust which i guess looks more ricey. Yet neither of them are angled. Unless the guys car u saw changed it? if u wanted angled try the tsudo axleback, cheap stuff

Wanted to know which exhaust you would get if you could only choose between the HKS Hi Power Axle Back and the Agency Power Cat Back.

Is the Agency Power worth the extra 250 or so dollars?

I'm most concerned with sound, so I'm wondering which one is deeper, louder, which has more drone, etc. The Agency Power sounds like it has a tad bit of rasp in the higher RPM's, but there are not that many sound clips of it, so it is hard to tell.

Any help is appreciated...

I love the HKS! I would go with that and spend the extra $250 to have a muffle shop weld a 2.5 inch midpipe to make it a cat back.

Well I care a little about performance, but mostly sound/looks. I also like the fact that the canister on the AP is smaller than the huge HKS can. I'm undecided about the rainbow effect though, not sure how hard it would be to keep it clean. Pics like this make me want the AP more and more though...
