That sucks. I still have mine and loved it on my tC. I'll have to get it for sale soon...

I dunnow to tell the truth I rather like a quiet exaust system, but at the same time I wanna increse the flow, anyone have any good suggestions? I'd like to move to a better flowing header eventually, but I'd be happy just replacing cat back right now, since I'll probably be replacing my cat soon and I'd like to do it all at once.

The OE style exhaust would be your best best. Greddy Spectrum Elite, Tanabe Medallion Touring, Megan OE-RS, Magnaflow catback and Borla.

my greddy spectrum elite is actually really loud and im tired of it. could be bc of the header though, but im ready to throw on the stock exhaust cause im so tired of it. i want something quieter, the oe-rs was really quiet even with a header

Default dual straight pipe?

I seen on youtube a video of a tc with dual straight pipe and thought it sounded pretty loud. Would this be a bad move? Just wanted to hear what ppl thought about it.

I know a guy with dual borlas, straight piped on an xb. Sounds pretty good. It's not too loud, has a pretty unique tone to it as well.

I am looking to keep everything stock except I want to get an axle back exhaust. What are your guys opinions for the best one out there?? Or what are some other ways to go about a nice exhaust that's not really loud and annoying?

the best way to go about it is to not buy the cheapest ebay exhaust you can find, magnaflow makes a catback that isn't too loud at all but sounds great but it's a bit pricey. TRD makes the axle back that isn't too loud at all. Greddy too comes with a silencer that keeps it soft, do some research, watch some videos.

Yeah I have watch some videos and like the sounds of the magnaflow, TRD and also the borla axle back exhaust. I just really want something that has a nice deep tone with no rasp or popping noises.

Magnaflow or a borla is your best bet then, Borla is a bit deeper and is an axle back, magnaflow is a more silent idle and sounds just nice driving around. I myself have the magnaflow and have never had any problems with it.

Just a quick question. Im about to buy a tanabe concept g axleback for my car. The only problem im having is that the description says its for 05-07 tc and i have a 2010. I dont think there should be any problem cuz i read that nothing really changed. I just want to be sure before i drop the cash for something that might not fit.

TRD sounds nice, but you'll see no performance gains with it at all. Go with the magnaflow. It's a bit more pricey but you'll see the gains and love the sound.

I've been reading a bunch of these pages, and I have yet to see anyone mention the Dezod exhaust system. 2.5" ss cat-back.. that's what I have, and I love it. Works for both NA and turboed applications..

^You get what you pay for, wouldn't be surprised if the muffler kept it's sound for a few months.
