hey clay how's the whole megan setup going? and do you still have your cat?

 

I had the full set up but, with the megan headers it was just too raspy. Now, i put the stock headers back on, and it sounds SWEET. Creates a Nice deep Rumble. I have a remote starter and one of my favorite things to do is sit inside, crank it up from the house, and hear the rumble through the house lol. It will be interesting to see how it sounds with the turbo...IF the damn thing ever gets here. Yet another day of delays from ZPI, what a surprise.

 

lol yeah i heard about that. im sure it will be worth the wait. i just got the megan header w/o cat. and i was gonna do the rest megan, but maybe zpi. did you get the 2.5" or 3" piping?

 

Go with megan, like the OE-RS like I have, no complaints with it. Hell if you lived close id almost GIVE it to you, just because im going to get something a lil different, maybe a HKS with custom straight piping from the turbo back...

i said... im about to get my custom dual borla exhaust system. what i was wondering was if a borla axle back or cat back exhaust system would not sound as good as a complete borla exhaust system (from the s-pipe to the muffler tip)

 

The exhaust is header - spipe - cat - midpipe - axle back.
If you go from Spipe back you will have to delete the second cat, which is illegal. You'll get more hp by removing the cat.

If I was you I would go with the cat back and be legal

 

I think you got that a little backwards.. It goes

Exhaust manifold w/ first cat, s-pipe, mid-pipe w/ resinator & 2nd cat, then muffler (axelback)

 

so if i get all that in borla will it be better for my car in sound and power than if i just get a cat-back exhaust system

 

Has anyone heard or seen a Flowmaster system set-up on a tC, had one on my previous ride, and was pleased.

I was looking at the Scion exhausts parts section and had a question. I'm looking for a cat-back exhaust with a titanium tip so I get that multi-color look. The only one I know of that does this is the Agency exhaust.

Does anyone know of any other cat-back exhausts that do this?

 

The only other multicolor exhaust I know of is the OE-RS megan makes

It Almost doesnt look like it just because of the dual tip with the body kit. I have the factory body kit on my rc... i odnt know. And everything for the exahaust system in the 05 is the same in the 07 right?

 

well that borla is exactly what i want on my ca. but i have an 06 and that foran 05....but is there any differance in the exhaust between the 2 years????
