Default CAI

Just bought a TC about a week ago and LOVE IT. Well, its my wifes, but i do miss the days of having a poppin 4 banger under the hood.
My question is this:
Is there any place out there that makes a cheaper CAI? I really dont feel like droppin $300+ on one. Hell, the one i have on my G6 was only $150. Anyone know of any or is there anyone selling one?

While I agree that a CAI is only worth a couple of horsepower and unless you're looking to stay NA and plan on adding headers, exhaust, etc, it won't do much, many people add them for sound and engine dress-up and i think that's completely legit in it's own right. Having said that, if you want things looking nice, you don't want a bunch of hose clamps and PVC pipe under the hood - if the guy asking wants things looking good, just find one of the lower cost intakes and buy it.

but sombody looking to save costs on intake wouldn't neccessarily be looking to make his engine bay like a kings throne. maybe he wants the sound moreso. or the socalled HP

i know my brother wwanted the intake for hte sound and hp not the looks. cuz thats all he did. intake.
