CAMCON vvti controller + a/f controller
I have read about as much as I can on the Camcon... I understand that it can advance and retard the valve timing. What is not often talked about is the A/F control feature. Can it actually add and subtract fuel?
Also does anyone know the best place to get it? Lastlook has them for like $320... is there a better price then that?

It works pretty well, I bought and ran one early on on the plan that I was going to do an extensive NA build but sold it once my plans changed. I have an 07 and much like an issue that occurs with other piggy backs you need to add 2 resistors to the CAM + and CAM - wires along with one to the Crank + and Crank -.
Otherwise it will throw a random check engine light every now and then. There is DIY on how to do the mod somewhere around here and now I wish I would of kept the unit.

Yes you can add and reduce fuel, you can also advance and retard timing. However, you cannot adjust vvti or anything else. If you get lucky you might find a used one around the boards for around $200 (how much I sold mine for). If your going to buy new I'd suggest just doing an AEM FIC or something similar. The user interface in the camcom is not very user friendly and for a few hundred dollars more you can have an Aem FIC with a better GUI and more features.

Wait... if you can advance and retard the cams then you are adjusting vvti... thats what Variable Valve Timing means lol.
Do you mean that you cant change the lift duration? To do that you would need completely new cams... or a system like vtec.

Well you can't adjust VVTI engagement points or anything like that, what you are adjusting is the overall intake cam timing, which can be done at + or - 20 degrees. (or within capable limits) So you are still working with the same oem vvti map but just adding or subtracting cam angle degrees.
