Default Car Hesitation & Ocasional Stalling - PLEASE HELP GUYS !

hey guys,

I have a 2007 scion tc,
it's got about 43K in miles on it,

i used to be boosted with my own custom turbo kit which i fabricate for others now - i am no longer boosted due to trying to save money with gas prices.

anyways, on to my problem - maybe someone can help me spot whats wrong with my car.

currently my car is throwing 2 specific codes.

the first code is a low voltage o2 Sensor Code. basically indicating a bad o2 Sensor i guess.

the second code is a bad mass air flow sensor. now - the weird part is the vaccuum switch that sits next to my maf sensor stopped ticking or making noise which indictaes it's stopped working.

now here is the problem,

when i am driving, if i go over a pothole or a bump of some kind my car starts hesistating or just starts to die. while i continue to step on the gas expecting the car is gonna pickup any moment, it doesnt - only way to get the car to snap out of it is to keep rolling and hope the car starts going again or downshift which usually will bring the car out of it's funk.

it's a weird problem, i cant imagine what would cause this problem at all.

almost any bump or pothole will cause the car to start hesitating or "bogging down"

the car never fully dies on me, just bogs down. then eventually after 10 secs or more it'll start picking up again.

hopefully someone here knows what is wrong with the car.

thanks guys.
p.s. the mechanic at the scion stealership said that both codes work against eachother usually in the sense that, if you have a bad o2 sensor the car will also throw a bad MAF code or vice versa with a bad maf throwing both a bad maf and o2 sensor code.. hopefully i dont confuse anyone.

thanks guys !

Bad o2 results in rich engine conditions...bad MAF results in rich engine conditions...

RICH+RICH=Bog....or even a stall....

clean MAF with the proper cleaner, change O2 sensor..

ok i have ordered a new o2 sensor,

is it safe to clean the maf ? and if so with what solvent ? is there a specific maf cleaner i can use ?

the weird part of this whole thing is, the car only begins to bog down when i hit a pothole or bump ...

any thoughts on that one ?

assuming its a decent sized bump, maybe a short in one of those two wires....check the MAF/O2 connections as well?

as for cleaning the MAF there is special solvent, and for the life of me i cant remember what it is called....
