CreativeCompacts just created one and it posted 12whp gains on the dyno. Best part is, you can choose between 3 different mufflers to put on it.

haha. I like the lack of information and pictures as well as this little quote:

"Will Require one cut to be made on stock exhaust, then bolt on. No Welding.
Emissions Legal - Retains Main Cat on Car"

I want something that um is made for my car to bolt onto it.

The cat-back requires one cut but the "Complete" system is 100% bolt-on. The system is new so he (James) probably doesn't have pics yet. But it's 100% mandrel bent a puts 12whp down. Call or email him if you have Q's.

12whp? they must be smoking crack. this must have been a highly tuned f/i scion they dynoed. not to talk smack about that company but all these great companies that have been around for years don't put out #'s like that. (greddy, hks, dc sports, etc.) i hightly doubt our 4 cyl cars will push out 12whp on any exhaust.

What about the Borla system at http://www.hopupracing.com/bosctcreseex.html 8hp and 12tq. That's gotta be a catback, yeah?

That's what the dyno showed. The car also had a WeaponR SRI. But the dyno showed 12whp in addition to the 6whp the WeaponR provided.

you can't measure hp that way. you can't say, well my intake gives me 6hp and my exhaust gives me 6hp more so that equals 12hp. the mods work together and produce their own #'s on the way they perform w/ each other. so lets say that the intake gives you 6hp and the exhaust gives you another 6hp....that will prolly give you a total of like 8 or 9 hp.

Sorry maybe I didn't explain things cleary. The 12whp given was in ADDITION to the 6whp the SRI gave. Not SRI(6whp) + Exhaust(6whp) = 12whp, that wasn't what I said. So all total BOTH added 18whp DYNO'd above stock. The exhaust produced 12whp on it's own. Look in the Power Hunger (tc) for the the thread about Creative Compacts Exhaust.

Does anyone have the Borla exhaust installed, and have a sound file? Borla is great for American cars, but I'd like to hear what they do for imports.

jmiller20874 is correct. the dynoed the stock at 126. added the weapon R sri which dynoed +6. then they added the creativecompacts exhaust (sri still on the car) which dynoed an ADDITIONAL 12 hp. all whp. the exhaust costs some 600 for the full kit but as of right now, creativecompacts offers the only full kit. you can either buy this one or wait for another one. and yes the borla exhaust is only an axleback.

We are well aware of how to dyno a car and OUR Exhaust DYNOED 12 HP on JUST the Exhaust... don't knock it with fiction, we have the facts, search the forums.

FYI: Our Full Kit is a complete bolt on... We installed it in about 30 min

Then why this????
"Will Require one cut to be made on stock exhaust, then bolt on. No Welding.
Emissions Legal - Retains Main Cat on Car"
And can we see some pictures of it, and the dyno sheet. As well as what the different muffler look like installed?

I think that is if you do not use the high flow cat. If you replace the existing cat with the high flow cat it is 100% bolt on. If you don't I think you have to cut the cat off or soemthing lol

Please be aware our company offers 3 types of exhaust...

Axleback, Cat Back and Complete Kit... You are reading the information on the "CATBACK" Kit.... The COMPLETE KIT is:
Complete Bolt On Kit, Will Replace Main Catalytic
Emissions Illegal unless High Flow Cat-Convertor is selected
