clutch disengagement problems.

Hey guys I recently changed the clutch on an 06 tc. No mods done at all. When I went to get the car started the clutch had disengagement problems. The car would not go Into gear at first and when I stepped on the clutch it made constant a scratching noise and smells like its burning. When ever I have the pedal all the way
to the floor the car starts to die unless it's in gear. It feels almost like a missfire. I checked the clutch line and it was working properly. The lever to engage and disengage the clutch will not move at all. Any suggestions?

worst case scenario the throw out bearing may have dislodged itself from the clutch fork causing problems and you will need to take the trans off again to fix it or best case a simple clutch adjusment is in order, for that just adjust the clutch push rod down by the clutch pedal

Yeah screw that. I spent the last week tearing it apart. Never again.

ok first check out ur slave cylinder make sure its not leaking or anything like that and another thing why its not be fully disengaged is ur clutch pedal may not be pushing out far enough see if u can adjust it to push it out farther and if still not disengaging u may have to to some modifieing. thers a medal piece behind the clutch pedal that pushes the master cylinder thats the piecce youll have to look at and ur slave to see if its being pushed out far enough.
