Default Clutch kicking back

I just got an 08 Tc manual transmission and i was wondering if all tc's kick back when shifting.
I drive my brothers 2000 eclpise sometimes also manual transmission and it shifts nice and smooth no kick back.
I just want to know if thats normal and if not then what would i need to do to get that fixed.

Seeing as how you just got the car either:

A) You don't know how to drive it fully and the hesitation is driver error, nothing wrong with the car at all.
B) The car is used so it may have an upgraded clutch that's stiffer and it engages more roughly than a stock clutch
C) Hopefully unlikely, the car was beat to ____ and the transmission is thrashed.

you're probably just experiencing the DBW feel. You will have to get used to the throttle lag from a drive by wire car vs. your brothers throttle cable car.
Instead of having a cable connected from the throttle body to your gas pedal (eclipse), you have a wiring harness connected from the pedal to the ecu to the throttle body (tC). There's going to be some lag, but you will get used to it.
