Decrease in power after CAI
I just installed my Injen cool air intake and there is a noticeable decrease in acceleration. I double checked everything and its all connected properly. Has anyone else experienced this problem?
im sure u just think there a problem... but u can disconnect ur battery for 15min and then let ur ECU reset and then see if theres anyother issues...
that what i had to do when i installed a MOPAR cold air intake on a '09 Challenger at work and then it felt right.

Mainly when accelerating even when I floor it there isn't much response it barley picks up at all. If i have a rolling start and floor it though it kicks and revs up but from a stop i have to floor it constantly to get it to move basically.

sounds like you are having a pressure leak that is cosing it to bog down

Im currently resetting the ECU because I had forgotten to connect the wires yesterday and drove with them disconnected I guess VSV does that sound right. Anyways after the first test drive I came back and connected them but never reset the ECU. Ill post back in a few when I test drive it.
It shouldnt get faster or slower. An intake on a tC is just going to look pretty and sound neat.
As far as a pressure leak as mentioned above, there is no pressure to leak. If you removed one coupler all together, all you would get is an intake with no filter on it. The engine is sucking air through the intake, there is no air being forced in.
