I have header but no check engine light, injen intake ( no carb accepted )
will i past emission test in chicago area???

You will pass. On 1996+ cars they only hook them up to the computer they don't do the old tailpipe test so if you don't have a cell your good to go, I've never gotten a visual inspection either so you shouldn't have a problem with that. Which emissions place are you going to the one on Forrest Preserve and Harlem?

That is great to know as we have no visual test here yet in Washington and for 96 up they just plug into the OBD and if no CEL it passes......

glad to heaer from somone who went through this as I was dreading the day I had to rip it all out to stock jsut to pull through a 5 minute test.

i avoid my dealership _____ing by running stock header with a gutted cat, works well.
