I like my Megan drift spec...i got the new release so it fits perfect unlike the 05' version that burns the bumper (tsudo for example). Love the way it hangs and sounds. I tried just the axel back and it was so mellow, but add the mid pipe and so much power is gained and so loud with no rasp (aka the tsudo sound)

Same thougth here! Go custom! Be different, you don't want to sound like everyone else. Or maybe you do

My buddy has a Tsudo Axel back and a custom (straight) mid pipe and that where the rasp comes in...I still think u need some kind of resonator on the mid pipe, and u can still cut the secondary cat off completely...My buddy has a stock header and s-pipe so i know the header isnt making the rasp...

i bought my drift spec from a sponsored seller on here, it was C2AUTOSPL. go to the sponsored sales area and ask retailers for prices and see who is the cheapest. i paid about $330 shipped for it. i also have an injen cai, but any cai should sound good, it's all personal preference.

Brian what do you think about the INJEN CAI With the HKS hi Powered Exhaust?

Is the HKS HI POWERED EXHAUST CATBACK OR AXELBACK?

hks is axleback, that's the reason i didn't get it, personally i really like the hks but it's only an axleback and costs more than the megan which is why i went with the megan, i don't see the point in paying more money for less power. the hks is nice though, good quality and sounds good if you're not looking for power. the can is bigger though, i think the drift specs can is a good size.

I got an automatic 2007 scion tc.

Im not looking for a race car...just some decent sound.

Think I should still stick with the HKS cuz of my automatic issue or jump into the drift spec catback?

it's completely up to you, i'm sure you'd be happy with either one. personally i wouldn't want just an axleback, but that's just me.

most catbacks will give around the same, i'm going to guess anywhere from 5whp to 10whp, axlebacks will give probably 1whp to 5whp (more towards 1whp)

I definetly want a catback exhaust.

Even though I have an automatic. The gains would be nice.

Will an intake and exhaust for mods get damaged or will anything happen to these mods when the snow comes?

How will they act throughout the winter? Will it be okay to have the stuff on my car.

Winters coming and im Anxious! =D

they'll be fine, i wouldn't worry about that. choose the one you like best, not what everyone else likes best, this is especially trure for exhausts. pick the one that looks best and sounds best to YOU. ppl on SL love them all, you will find HKS ppl, TRD ppl, Megan ppl, Tanabe ppl etc etc, so it doesn't matter, they will all love their own. I love megan, haha.
