greddy strut bar
does anyone have any experiance with the greddy strut bar? I have always loved the greddy product line but i just don't have any info on how well their strut bars work. Any information would be appreciated.
Most will say use the search field up top, but I'm not like most.
No experience with the greddy strut bar. Any strut bar will work on the tC, its just a bar that ties the front towers together, a modest mod for what its worth. I suggest TRD sway and/or TRD springs as they will yield better results involving suspesion. But if you're hell bent on greater chassis rigidity, the greddy, or any strut bar for that matter, will suffice. Greddy also makes a rear one, if you're really that involved with greddy products & with beefing up your chassis. Good luck, and happy modding.
P.S. If you're in Okinawa, Japan, how'd you get a tC over there, since the tC is USDM only.

i already have the tein ss coilovers. I love the way my car handles now. I've heard that trd had good stuff but i wanted nice coilovers. I want a strut bar to take some of the stress off my chassis. I do alot of down hill racing so i do alot of turning.
super street coilovers, hell then the next progressive step is a strut bar. I'm sure if you threw any strut bar in your tC, front and rear, it'll help out with tearing up some curves while you race downhill. Whats a strut bar do? Tie towers together. And any old piece of steel with a company logo will get the job done, that's how I see it. Post how the greddy strut towers worked out for ya. BTW, Okinawa's got alot of downhill racing?
yeah its getting bigger i drive an 89 skyline gts-t out here for my racing out here, but i was talking about my car in the states. There are a couple of places up near north Georgia that is starting up some down hill racing.
as stated, any strut bar that doesnt bend will be good enough.... the front strut towers are attached to the firewall so it's fairly secure there already. As for which strut bar to get.... Greddy looks good in picture.... I had the DC Sports bar (as most ppl have currently) and experienced some fitment issues that can turn ugly in the future (I have some pics if you would like to see). I went with TRD.
i just installed my Greddy struts (front/rear) yesterday and i love it. ive been talking turns faster than before and i have better grip while accelerating on short turns. If your goin to canyon race then i strongly recommend it. It almost eliminates the tire spin out that you get when you floor it on a turn. GET THEM!!
