Headers: Keep or Not
Ok,
I have had Megan headers for a bit, I currently run a:
Megan Headers - Megan S-Pipe - Stock Midpipe - Injen Exhaust Setup
Idk, I just want my ride to be comfortable, and noise is an issue...And according to Tyler and others, headers are a big issue towards that.... But I also want a nice looking, showable ride, and IDK if that can be done with the stock heat shield and such...
Opinions? Depending on how this thread goes, I may be in the market to Trade Megan Headers for a Stock 07/08 setup.....

excuse me? last time i checked the oem axel back and the trd sound like **** with a header, whereas canister style exhausts take away rasp because the flow is better

Think of rasp as sound waves (which they are). If you create more resistance (oem style exhaust, compared to a "free flowing" canister) you will be dampening the sound waves.

Run the stock exhaust manifold and just don't put the heat shield on. There is also a writeup somewhere on here for polishing.
LOL WHAT POWER?!?
