Help! Having pretty bad engine knock sounds

I have an ‘06 tC with ~160k miles. Bought it from a guy who couldn’t get it to start. After a lot of maintenance, I was able to start it, but it runs pretty rough (see video clip). It sounds like it could be a connecting rod or maybe bearings? I’m not totally sure. I also can’t tell if it’s louder towards the timing chain cover. Any thoughts? Would love any input about what might be causing this. Thanks in advance!

Seeing as it's an 06 look the VIN up at Toyota to see if it's ever had the oil consumption recall done. If not then there is a very good possibility that it was burning oil previously and it was run dry by the previous owner. If so then you're looking at rods, pistons, bearings and possibly a crankshaft. Basically if this is the problem then the engine is shot. I would ask the previous owner if the oil light came on before it stopped working.

Can't see the video link.

If I'm not mistaken, oil consumption recalls were limited to 2007, 2008 and 2009 models. If your oil cap says to use 5w30 oil, your car probably wasn't recalled. If your oil cap says to use 5w20 or 0w20, you may have the one-piece oil rings and small oil return holes that led to the recall.
