alright ive been tryin to decide which would be better for my tc the hks axle back or the greddy evo 2 cat back system? which one will give me a more power gain but a good sound at the same time ?

no axle back is going to yield any gains.

the catback without any supporting mods might give you a few wheel horsepower.

 

I thought the Greddy evo 2 was also an axleback?

Both products are awesome!!! but in my opinion I would get the GReddy intead of the HKS.

Evo 2 would give you 6+whp.

they are both axle back and there are dyno results posted on here for about 4hp gains from axle backs

 

so frustrating. choices...

 

someone told me the HKS rubs (because its angled) against the OEM rear kit lip. dont know if thats true.

SL member Spray had the greddy evo 2 paired with a cc s-pipe and an alphawerks header. he felt it was too raspy, so he replaced the greddy with a hks hi-power. he says it sounds significantly better with the hks.

both brands are highly reputable, so it depends on personal preference (brand loyalty).

both are axle-back. the greddy evo is about $80-100 more expensive than the hks. because the greddy is mounted straight, it has a "U" bend in the piping, whereas the angled hks has a "L" bend.
