I just got this intake and it has a dent on the piece the connects the filter... is this really going to affect the performance/sound at all? also he said it didn't come with rubber mounts is that something i can get around? here is the pic of the dent

Run it as a short ram. I wouldn't put that part on the car. Ruins the whole flow of air.

I hope you got it for cheap, but yeah i wouldnt run that bent section.

^^x2 and you can probably stop by an ace harware to pick up something to replace the mount

dude... wht happened to that thing? yeah for the rubber mounts... i think u can use a... m10 bolt.. or something.. not sure but look around on here n i'm sure you'll be able to get something like it.

Yea you can just make your own vibra-mount. For me, I just got a long bolt (M10?) and a rubber stop from Home Depot. Then just drill a hole through the rubber stop.

the guy said a truck backed into his car (fender) and got him pretty good ouch! but he ended up selling the car but everything else is fine on the intake. thanks again guys i can't wait to throw that b on! time to go to the home depot! my home away from home lol

go short ram, because when it comes to snow, since you live in ohio you'll run into it. save your self from hydrolocking your car and go short ram. and that dent will make a huge performance decrease bedause it disturbs the airflow and reduces the airflow.
