I consider it a good upgrade, but takes a little getting used to.

also, I couldn't reuse the stock springs (I read some people recommended reusing) but it seems to work fine without them.

also, I wasn't sure if i had to install the pipe the same way as the stock (above the rear wishbone) but once again seems to work fine the way it is. haven't heard it on bumps yet. and those hanger gromets are pure evil

had to take the vid down, host got ____ed, PM me if you want it

aarontrini85 12-02-2005 08:10 PM

the hangers do suck lol and i realy miss my injen i think i might buy that muffler for the custom setup i have now and drop my current muffler

Batjew 12-02-2005 08:15 PM

indeed, i already got complaments on the muffler itself, nice and clean. but i'd hate to ruin the perfect welds.

aarontrini85 12-02-2005 08:20 PM

yeah i love how clean thoughs tig welds were very nice till you look at the flange lol the muffler had to be machine made either that or some one got lazy on mine when they did the flange

still my favorite exhaust for the tc

Batjew 12-02-2005 08:31 PM

sound clips in first post

 i cant wait to get my Injen Exhaust! Stock looks sooo ugly!

How much and from where? Did you install yourself? If so how long did it take you?

Batjew 12-02-2005 08:41 PM

i got it from trdsparks in my sig. $330 shipped, Ken will take care of you for sure. I did in my garage, used the spare jack. i'd say about 15mins, and get a long wrench, those bolts are a tad stubborn, but with enough pressure you can them off, good idea to grease the rubber hanger gromets. size 14mm socket

aarontrini85 12-02-2005 08:58 PM

i used dishwashing liquid on the hangers lol they suck but other then that the same as batjew its verry easy

unlimited77 12-02-2005 09:02 PM

^^^ i used wd 40 and i had no problems with the hangers.

It to quiet now...lol

Looks and sounds great! Have you had it out on the interstate yet? That's the main issue I have with getting a new exhaust system, I don't want it to be obnoxious on long trips. A group of friends and I went to NOPI Nationals in '04 and the drone in my friend's Supra drove him crazy (he had just installed a new downpipe with no cats). I'm already crazy enough as it is, lol.

aarontrini85 12-02-2005 09:14 PM

ummm injen isnt that loud on the eway but it is louder then stock

i noticed the difference, but it was that bad, but you really know it's there when you rev it. I was blasting System of a Down to notice anyway

Man, that sounds too good. Props. Good price too!

Further proof for me that this should be my next mod for my car. =D

zer0 12-02-2005 09:34 PM

Please do, I love how it looks and fills up the rear bumper cutout thinger.

Batjew 12-04-2005 05:21 PM

i think it's a little close ot the cutout though, when i first started the car and drove it down the road, smoke was comming out, i thought it was from the bumper, but it looks ok now.

zer0 12-04-2005 05:26 PM

send me a clip of your exhaust, when you rev it higher. I will host it for you.

zer0 12-04-2005 06:16 PM
