intakes... help me choose...

Well Im looking for a intake but being the nature of forums everyone has something bad to say about just about everything. So ive been reading trying to sort through the dynos and etc and am still sitting here stuck.

Here is my take:
So it seems the injen is the most popular, but some people are having problems with the mounting bracket getting broken over time. Is this a real issue or maybe caused by installations issues?

TRD seems too new and I have yet to find a dyno to show there is not a loss of power in the low end. Its a bit more money but hey if it gives nice gains.

So this brings up Fujita, which sounds great, but has a loss in the low end.

If I am not mistaken all the short air versions take a loss in the low end.

Thoughts? Ideas? Help me sort this out...

The Injen has no problems with mounting brackets for me, and I've run it since THE DAY Injen released it... it's posted the best gains in the tests here on Scionlife and I personally like the way it looks the best as well.

TRD is more costly and I'm not sure if you'd get that much more out of it.

I'm a toss up between Injen and Fujita... they both seem to be the best quality, but the Fujita is a little more.

All of them will cost a lil low end power.

From the looks of the dyno here the injen loses very little if anything in the low end:

Now I have yet to see dynos on the TRD, or the Fujita.

So is the mounting thing on the injen just a fluke or a wide spread problem? The lower cost is nice, but Im fine with the cost of the others as well so my question is which is the best, for power gains, sound, mounting, and lasting.... I will say the fact that you have to take the fendor off is one of the reasons I don't have one already. So you have to take it off every time you want to clean the filter.
