Default My tC is only 2 yrs old and the Clutch burned up already!

Please help! At just over 34,000 miles, my 2 yr old tC has a bad clutch and Toyota is blaming me! They say it's long term abusive driving habits, that I ride with my foot resting on it or somehow leaving it engaged. I was taught to drive stick more than 20 yrs ago, my father taught me to rest my foot firmly on the floor
when not using the clutch. A habit I've never gotten out of, and I take advantage of drifting in neutral down a hill! The vehicle I traded for the tC was a Jeep Wrangler I'd driven for 3 or 4 yrs, bought used, and of ALL the extensive work I had to have done to that thing, replacing the clutch wasn't one of them!
I don't know what to do! I'm the vehicle's sole driver, and I drive to and from work, daycare, school, and the grocery store (with exception to holidays)! I don't do anything extra, ever! As it will cost me nothing but money I don't need to spend, and this is what always happens.

Do I speak to the General Manager? Ugh...

Honestly, I bet its you're driving.

150k on my tC (granted tC2) and no slipping. Drove tC1 for a long time, no slippage.

Honestly, you're 100% wrong. Thanks for your response and story I didn't need to read.

If you had a factory clutch, you drove it, and you burnt it. it was you.

My 11 year old factory clutch is in good shape. No noticeable wear.
