Default Need help with setup!!

I currently have the Tsudo extreme axelback, I like the way it looks and sounds from the interior but when standing outside during a drive-by it doesnt have a good sound to it. I was researching for solutions and I came across the Tsudo Mid section on this site >http://www.speed-element.com/servlet/Detail?no=136 which is where I purchased the axelback. However I dont know much about midpipes and I was hoping someone could inform me about the setup or help me find a way to get a better sound for a reasonable price (not switching axelback). I dont want headers either. Any suggestions are definitely appreciated, thanks!

it has a pretty good rumble at idle and up to 2000 rpm but after that it gets quieter, idk exectly how to describe it, but what exactly dose the mid-section do as far as performance/ sound?

removes a second cat. if ur only interested in the sound i would recommend getting rid of tsudo and getting a different axle back. the muffler is the biggest determiner in the sound. im a big fan of the magnaflow sound. low rumble and idle and steadily gets louder as you go up the rpm range. listen a bunch of companies mufflers and figure out which one you like the sounds of. the size of the muffler and it's setup will determine how loud it will get. adding headers, replacing the s-pipe, and mid-pipe will alter the sound a little but not more than the muffler.

If you just wan't it to be "louder" then just get the midpipe...
but like keeshwah said there are better sounding mufflers...

my fav ones are EVO2,Concept G,HKS HP but the first 2 dont handle after market headers very well.

what if I got the megan mid section . their mid setup may allow for better flow and sound, Ive heard alot of good things about that company. I dont want to change out the axelback cause I like the way it looks on the car.

nope. but im not gonna buy ANOTHER axelback just to make it deeper. that'll run me another 200+ dollars. thats why I bought the tsudo in the first place. I just want to make it sound better by replacing the mid section

just go to a local muffler shop and have them make you a custom mid-pipe.

and then you'll realize that wasnt the solution so you'll buy an s-pipe, and then header, and then you'll realize oh now my exhaust is raspy, spend more money on a resonator and then ultimately realize you still don't have the sound you want.

The mid pipe (Meagn/tsudo wutever) will remove the bulb cat and the stock resonator replacing it with a bobo 18inch glass pack.

it will make your axleback louder and maybe even give you a bit of rasp.
Do it and be happy.
EDIT* you may notice a slight gain up top and a slight loss at the bottom end, no biggy...
