Default Need some help on an issue.

Hi guys, so about 7 months back I had a injen CAI and a magnaflow exhaust installed on my car, all went great, everything worked fine until back in january when I had to have some work done on my car and they toggled with my air intake a bit. In 2nd/3rd gear when i'm around 2,000 rpm and I step on the gas a bit and my car jumps up to 2.5 and just sits there and seems to lose power and accelerate through it slowly and my car shakes a bit and then everything is fine but it's just in that small window when I have an issue. I could really use some suggestions on what's going on, thanks.

what does that mean that they "toggled with your intake"
is this an auto or manual

how many miles on the car
how do you maintain it (spark plugs, air filter cleaning, oil changes...etc)

^I'd also make sure all the hoses and clamps are tight on the intake.

For some reason I couldn't pass inspection because the computer they were using was putting up a red flag about the amount of air going through it that broke some environmental regulation. So they told me they just lessened it. It's auto, an 08 with only 16.7k on it. Regular oil changes and air filter cleaning and just take care of it, I always have.

That's what I was thinking dropzone, I'm taking it in soon to get it looked at so I'll have them take a look at all those too.

^Same question as the 2^, what do you mean they lessened, need info and details on this. If you passed the inspection, then get everything back to how it was right before you went up there, before you had this problem.

they probably put a restrictor plate in there somehow (pretty unlikely). if they did, remove it, reset your battery and wham
