P0171 After Cleaning Fuel Tank

It’s been a hell of a couple weeks for me, but here’s what’s going on:
Was driving from Oklahoma to Texas two weekends ago, and it had been raining quite a bit in Oklahoma. Went to get gas to top off, and about 40 miles down the road, my tC starts acting like it’s running out of gas.
It stopped running, wouldn’t start at all. Long story short, we took it into Pep Boys and they claimed I got contaminated gas, and they dropped the fuel tank and cleaned it. They also said they tested the fuel pump and it was fine.
Right after leaving Pep Boys, my check engine light came on. Autozone said it was Code P0171 - System too lean.
Since then, I’ve changed the MAF (mass air flow sensor). That hasn’t changed anything.

Its a 2009 Scion tC, little over 150k miles on it, haven’t really had any problems with it until these last few weeks except the oil thing that every damn tC has.
Exhaust smells funny to me. Doesn’t run smooth, especially on downhills while the cruise is on and idle. Doesn’t knock really bad, but it knocks and the RPMs jump a bit. Miles per gallon are down for sure.
I know the nature of the problem is that my car ultimately isn’t getting enough fuel, so how do I fix my beloved car? Oxygen sensor (Which one)? Fuel filter? Fuel pump?
