Question Gurgling/Whistling noise when braking

Hello all, I drive a 2006 5-speed tC and I've had some trouble with this noise for awhile and was wondering if anyone here has experienced anything of the sort. Attached are 2 videos of the same noise, one more obvious than the other(i have one that is very loud and obvious but i cant get the video under 5 mb). I noticed this noise when i was braking so i changed my pads on all wheels, it persisted so i changed my rotors, it persisted and i also noticed some play in my wheels so i thought the noise was my wheel bearings, i replaced the entire hub assemblies and i still hear the noise. Now its always been difficult to catch this noise on video or to show it to a friend, but today i noticed that i am able t make it happen when i brake/begin braking when the car is in gear. This leads me to believe its something in my transmission.

I plan on taking apart the transmission and trying to find the faulty part, order a new one, and then spend another day putting it back together. This requires a lot of time and if anybody here is able to maybe give some pointers in the right direction, it would help me out so much! Thanks for reading
