PLEASE HELP!!!! My tC keeps shifting weird

I installed a cold air intake on my tC and ever since then it will go through first and second fine then when it gets into third it just keeps shifting into 4th early the back down to 3rd then up and down when I’m at lower speeds. It’s an automatic by the way. I just replaced the MAF sensor with a JET tuned MAF sensor which is tuned for cold air intakes. I tried resetting the ECM/ECU and it just keeps doing it. I can’t think of anything else it could be. I took it to Midas and the lt/st fuel trims are off so it has something to do with air but I can’t seem to figure it out.

Your CAI is likely the problem. Put the OEM one back in with the MAF and you should be good. Only buy CAIs from reputable manufacturers such as AEM or Injen. The generic ones often screw up the MAF readings.
