Make the exhaust look just like that for NA and you will already have buyers. Maybe extended the tip another inch forward. I don't think this exhaust will fit an five axis rear lip. I could be wrong but I barely have room for movement with my nasty Greddy exhaust.

i always wanted to share this idea with you Mike. you will have a lot of buyers! not everyone can afford goin boost so a NA ptuning exhaust will be perfect for bolt ons.

yea just like they said. i think it would be great to have a axelback piece for people like me that already have other aftermarket midpipes and other axelbacks and upgrading to using your axelback instead. you will def. have alot of buyers if you produce it to look exactly like the pictures.

would love to have n/a ptuning exhaust. But perferably s-back with cat that could hook right into your turbo later on.

If produced, the axle-back will look exactly like the rear section you see in the 3" s-back system (like the pic). We designed the tip to fit the factory and TRD rear lips perfectly. Therefore, if we make the tip longer to work on the Axis rear lip, then it may protrude out too much on an OEM or TRD rear lips. Before putting it into production, we may test fit on an Axis lip too and maybe make a compromise in length to fit most rear lips.

We had this idea way back when. However, we were so busy developing products for the FI Scion tC and racing that we really never had time to develop parts for the NA Scion tC. By taking time off from racing in 2010, our goal was to focus on developing more parts for the NA Scion tC market. Hence, the already released billet motor mounts, and now possibly an axle-back exhaust.

Thanks. If produced, yes the axle-back exhaust will look identical to the picture, minus the midpipe section

We would probably not release an NA S-Back, only the axle-back. If you should decided to go turbo in the future, your best bet is to go with our full 3" S-Back. We would never recommend a 2.25" or 2.5" s-Back over a full 3" system for turbo.

Thumbs up on trying to test the fitment on the axis kit. I will eventually get the turbo back exhaust so either way it would be great to know what works.

We probably won't have access to a tC with Axis body kit. If possible, can you email us a picture of the rear of your axis lip and approximately how much further out is the rear Axis lip than the stock lip (if you have this info)?

Thanks

Perhaps I should have explain the situation a little better. The problem with the lip is that the exhaust opening isn't as wide as it could be. I don't fully know how to explain it. The rear lip extends backwards. I will try to take pictures later to show you what I mean but try to imagine looking at the car from underneath. The exhaust opening looks like a funnel or a U from underneath. Its weird how they designed it but for my Greddy Ti-C exhaust, it cannot extend forward because of the size.

With the five axis rear lip, I think we lose maybe a cm horizontally from the exhaust opening and the lip extends another cm out. From the few pictures I observed, the Option 2 exhaust looks like it sits flush with the bumper. I was initially worried that the exhaust might burn away the bumper or after market lip.

Looks like our ptuning modular axle-back exhaust system is going to happen. Dyno #s and sound clips coming shortly. Best of all our modular axle-back exhaust can be upgraded to our full 3" turbo exhaust system should you decide to turbo or SC your tc down the road.

Any luck with those pictures?

dont quite have time to take pics of my car right now but this is from a different user on SL. The five axis rear actually covers the entire oem exhaust opening unlike the factory lip kit. And as you can see, the lip extends backwards.

Thanks for the pic.
Yea, it's difficult to eye fitment from the picture alone.
We will definitely need a tC with the Axis kit in order to see how the exhaust tip will fit.

We will keep you updated on this.

Thanks

The actual prototype has been completed and tested (including test fitment, pictures, and sound clips).
We are currently editing the sound clip file for upload.
We will post install pics, and sound clip very soon.

I wonder if I need to take a ride to VA so they can get the lip to work since thats my cars rear. Unless there is someone closer to VA with the 5A lip?
