With fine tuning you can produce more power at a higher RPM... but you have to overcome the negatives of higher RPM... engine stabilization is one, timing is another... also you will have to deal with improved airflow. The biggest reason our car limits at 6200rpm is that it can not pull in enough air to maintain a stable AFR. A bigger/higher flow intake is needed, port and polish in the intake valves etc. Or you could just get some Dezod refined engine work, http://www.dezod.com/cat-perf_engines.cfm
With a S/C where revs create boost, upping your rev limit will benefit you. However, if you are not making power up top (say on a turbocharger with a smaller comp wheel or turbine arrangement) it's pointless to rev further. I would have to see the power band or plot air flow to make a determination for sure.

In either case, your turbocharger is very small and I doubt will like being rev'd to that RPM and make power unless you have an enormous turbine A/R or some crazy cams.

We rev to 7000-7300 on a stock engine all day long.

what crack are you on? this statement is false

most honda motors have a short stroke vs the tc's larger stroke

ex: most b series are 87mm stroke while the tc is a 96mm stroke...

small stroke motors = high revving, higher rpms, low tq.. thats how they make power

large stroke motors = low revving, lots of tq... thats how they make power

displacement has nothing to do with how high you rev... the length of the stroke is what matters... u wont see a high stroke engine rev high because the physics involved in moving the longer rods puts and enormous amount of strain on the crank which is why they are limited to a certain range. a small stroke motor with small rod can move quick and generate less force as ir revolves on the crank decreasing the cranks stress. just use a jack with a short or long gap in between the holders and you will see simple physics in action in its simplest form to generate force

It should be one of these two... not sure which one though. Paul, Pete, any ideas what rev limit would be wise for these?

TDO6H-20G-14CM2 650 CFM
TDO7S-25G-17CM2 850 CFM

TD06-20G 430-450hp @ 22 psi

just get the TDO7S-25G-17CM2 850 CFM turbo and when on the dyno see if power start to fall the decide your realistic rev limiter. i would not go pass 8k for a daily driven car. but i think it will pull all the way to 7500 with this turbo.
