what did you expect, that is what happens with a header. Makes a lot of noise with little performance. As far as the leak, just make sure everything is seated right and make sure the bolts are tight.

well the only way to get rid of the rasp it to get resonators welded on the midpipe.

"HUSHPOWER", it cost more but is worth every dollar. i've gone thru 3 others but hushpower is the only one that worked. this will save you money and time. no rasp

hahaha, trust me...you're car isn't that loud. lol! my old set-up, supercharger, weapon-r header and s-pipe, and full 3 inch exhaust with a high flow cat, resonator and muffler...was in excess of 140 decibels @ WOT. (reference: http://www.wisegeek.com/what-is-a-decibel.htm) it was loud enough to hurt your ears. sigh, i miss it now that i have the turbo now...

anyway, yeah, you either need another muffler welded in, or if you haven't done it yet, get a high flow cat put on. without a cat, your exhaust gets kind stinky, you notice it when sitting at intersections and such. having one of those welded onto your mid-pipe section would quiet it down nicely.

I never even knew what my exhaust sounded like with stock headers lol I had a full exhaust system setup waiting for me when I got home with the car. I had a lil rasp but only when I would stomp on it......added a resonator and now no rasp at all. I do have a question tho.......somedays I wouldnt have rasp and somedays I would.....why is this?

possibly the temperature, if it is cooler outside it will cause more rasp

you have a link?
I think i am going to take it to the place where i got my custom exhaust done and tell them to fix the rattles and any leaks they can find.. Then explain the rasp to them.. Hopefully its not expensive. I can hear rattles and its probably the down pipe.. And i can deff hear the leak. The piping needs to be moved around.. o and it stinks more. I feel like im driving a small plane lol
