Regarding Oil consumption 2007 Scion tC

Hello all,
I bought my used 2007 Scion tC in 2013 with 41,100 miles on it. In 2018 I now have 57,000. Still not too crazy. I got the Scion letter about the oil consumption warranty but during the times of oil changes I haven't really noticed anything.
Now I think it seem to be burning through oil fast, or a lot faster than a car should, especially with regular oil maintenance and lower miles. But the 2nd phase of the warranty looks expired (10 years after beginning use date, or 150,000 miles, whichever comes first).
Being that it seems people haven't starting noticing the oil issues until after a good amount of miles on the car, and that my car still has lower miles. Is this warranty extended anymore? Will Toyota still look at it/do the oil test?

Just thought I would ask. Thank you!

I'm sure it's just like my Jeep warranty was "Whichever" comes first and they mean it. Anything after that and the customer will have to pay. 57k in 11 years is really low. Has it sat for a long period of time without being started?

No, I don't believe. I bought it certified and it had low miles, and it's my around town car. I live in a smaller town so doesn't get a crazy amount of miles.

I have only ran into a couple low mile engines with the oil consumption problem. #1 was from sitting and the oil relief holes were clogged. #2 was oil rings were limp and weren't wiping the oil from the cylinder walls like they were supposed to so it was burning it slowly. I'm pretty sure #1 engine had about 30k on it and #2 engine had 68k on it.

Make for sure you don't have a leak or something simple before getting too deep into it though :)
