Good Morning - last year I bought a 2007 tC manual for my son. Last week, out of the blue, while driving, he couldn't shift gears and was stuck on a bridge. When I get there, I start it in gear and drive in first gear to a shop (hindsight, 2nd would have been the better choice, lol). Mechanic says it needs an entire clutch system ($1000). We pick it up, drive it home. Ten minutes later he tries to go to work and it wont start...mechanic says dead battery - I claim BS at this point, battery is newish. Tried to jump with my car....nothing (left it sitting with my car charging it, nothing). Hook it up to charger (sparked as connecting) and started immediately...and did so for two days. Last night, dead again. Mechanic says starter. Any insight?????
