Same old CEL or not?
I know there's alot of CEL threads out there and I have searched through them but they don't really answer the question I have in mind. My tC is an auto and started out with just the trd exhaust and lowering springs. Couple weeks ago I bought the zpi stage 1 PnPolish from another tC owner and his used alphawerks header and zpi s-pipe. I had all 3 installed at a shop at the same time. After I got the car I got the CEL which I was expecting because of the header. The error code was 16, which I learned was "crankshaft position sensor", from autozone. My mechanic checked the wires and I figured it was just the header... So recently I did a self install injen cai along with an anti-fouler mod a week after that. This time when I went back to autozone I got 2 errors for the CEL but they were both code 16 crankshaft position sensor.
So my question is... error code 16 is that what everyone is getting for their second o2(in otherwords my anti-fouler didn't work) or do I have a different kind of CEL?

somethings wrong with your cranshaft position sensor then. The cel lights you will get from a header would be p0420 there are a few others but it would be dealing with a oxygen sensor circuit or just pop up as the oxygen sensor was bad.

How'd the PnP go... you seem to be the only one I've seen with one actually completed! It'd be hard to tell the difference if you got the s-pipe and header at the same time, but I'd like to see a dyno of that combo for sure... especially the head.
I'd bet on something getting bumped/damaged in your head install as the reason for the CEL, cause I'd STRONGLY agree that it's not the headers causing it.

How the PnP goes.. I'm not exactly sure as I drive an auto lol. That and I'm a total car newb. I'm also hoping that with the CEL and not tuning the AF ratio I'm not getting all that I can from it. I do feel a small lost in the low end but that might be the header. The good news is I've also got a apexi safc 2 here that needs to be installed and a friend of my cousin's has offered to install and dyno tune it. So if I can get a read out from that then I'll post it up.
PS: What's tdc arron? You think it's just that or I need to replace the sensor. BTW they had to reused my stock cams and crank as there isn't any aftermarket ones out atm. I've tried calling 3 of the local toyota dealership about the code 16... needless to say all I got was "bring it in and we'll tell you".

Other than the fact that the SAFC-II doesn't work on the tC below 4000 RPMS... so you're more or less toast there, until it gets figured out by a few shops... who think they can devise a way to make it work (Which is not publically available at this point)
Dissapointing that you're doing all this to an automatic.. and spent the money to install the head (which couldn't have been cheap) only to have problems...
Golden eagle is working on cams and crank, but it'll take time.

Hey ok I need some more help lol. So I just got back from the shop and... It's bank 'A' sensor 1 or bank 1 sensor 'A'. One or the other, but we think it might be the first O2 since my O2 reading for the first one is 0.35 and doesn't change even when reving. Now my second O2 is flutating between 3.2 to 4ish when we reved. So am I correct to assume that I need to replace the first O2 on the header and to get a better anti-fouler? And second I know it's bad of me but lol do I need to throw my stock s-pipe and intake or just my stock header before bringin it into the dealers?
