Default Should I tranny swap or go boost? Plz help!

Alright so I have a 2008 tc automatic -_- I really want stick and was wondering how hard it would be and around what price range I'm looking at for an auto to manual transmission swap? And what kind of place would be able to do the full swap? Now what I'm really wanting opinions on is depending on prices, should I pay for the trannsmission swap or should I just boost the car the way it is now with the auto transmission? I'm stuck between choosing whether to just drop a turbo kit in it now with the auto transmission or to just get a transmission swap and go with a kit farther in the future. Also has any one had any problems with transmission swaps or do they all go pretty smoothly? Any answers or suggestions will be much appreciated ! Please give me some input ! Thanks in advance!

All you got to do is search:

Believe me after 6 years we've talked about everything there is at least once, if not several times.
