Does anyone know of a good silencer to add to my Injen exhaust on my tC? I want to keep it, but I want to quiet it down for daily driving.

The design of most add-on silencers is such that they have a tube that fits inside the pipe attached to a larger-diameter mounting bracket. This bracket has set screws that expand out and grip against the inside of the exhaust tip. Since the Injen exhaust does have a tip, i'm assuming it's possible somehow.

yeah you pretty much need a silencer the size of your tip, drill a hole then bolt the silencer inside of it.. but silencer are worthless, it's more attention getter than anything because it creates rasp..

OK... so it does not silence the exhaust a few decibels?


Let me clarify - prove that a silencer doesn't reduce the sound level of an exhaust.
