Sqeaking Noise During Cold Starts
I recently notice, when i do cold starts....hear a squeaking noise its not that loud as of now.....im assuming its the serpentine belt...pretty sure theres no ajustments right to tightened it,pretty tight though..just has to replace...its fine on warm starts...unless its my lightweight crank pulley,
It could be just a belt, but keep an eye out for dried antifreeze or a low antifreeze level. Water pumps seem to go bad pretty regularly on the tC. My '05 need to have it replaced at 55,000 and then again around 80,000. If there is a tell-tale line of anti-freeze on th uderside of the hood above the serpentine belt, it may be the case for you.

i have like 76k miles and so far so good,it doesnt make the noise all the time, though,i guess when it wants too or its really cold out,the past few days its been frigid out, something the car, never seen before, below 20 degress,at least in my area....but im assmuing the belt will have to be replaced sooner o later
