i have a 06 with the tanabe g concept with custom made 2.5 midpipe without resonators nor a cat. and it sounds loud as hell without any rasp :]

 

yeah but you probably are running the stock exhaust manifold, so you still do have a cat and since its so close to the engine, yeah probably a lot of potential rasp is eliminated. I've got a DC header on so a resanator is a must for me :-(

Post a clip of your setup though... I can never get enough of that concept G sound

well hey i want to run the MMW headers with a skunk2 catback. i love the skunk2. it sounds awesome. i hope it sounds good with the MMW headers. if there is a lot of rasp then i have an aero25 resonator to put in the midpipe to kick out the rasp. after that there should be no rasp at all if even any.

 

The resonator won't kil the rasp. A cat will tho. it will also keep it deep and throaty.
