anyone here have one?

i got mine today and installed it.

i didnt get that high pitch air sucking sound that i wanted...sounds like a short ram...like its really deep.
anyone sounds different?
i was told it was because of how the engine is design something like that...

 

mines whistles when i change gear, almost sounds like a BOV sometimes, lol

but when i step on it WOT its all a deep growl!

They vary based on how open the throttle body is. But it's not like they'll all sound the same b/c the filter can make a difference as well. And the "high pitched" sound is usually only while you're driving and have the throttle open. If you're just revving it, you'll get more of the deeper sucking sound. Of course with a Tenzo it probably sucks more than others...

yeah, the whistling usually happens when shifting or when cruising and slowly giving it gas

 

i though it was because of the black plastic panel on the bumper i took out. (air creating turbulence) but after i put it back it didnt make a difference. but im going to leave it on to prevent crap from getting on the filter.

bought a amsoil filter. should be the same as the new injen CAI filters.
looks nice cost me like $40

now to heat wrap the pipe...
