I read the website link. Interesting. I think this may be a typo but is worth looking into.

Does anybody have the TRD Cold Air Intake? I'm curious and will get it next month but curious about how happy you are with and does it feel any different? 12 HP gain is great and comes with bypass valve sound really good but pricey and love some TRD Product.

most of the price that you pay is for the TRD label... it's all preference really.

Isn't it the same thing as the AEM intake just with a TRD label on it?

but then how come on TRDSparks.com, under the 06 tC the TRD Intake says "off road use only" and "not CARB Approved" but under the 07 tC it says nothing??

i was just under the impression that "off road use only" mean non-CARB legal, but being as how the 07's doesnt say it, that means it is CARB legal...

I have no idea BUT can I ask you a question? Why are you worried about CARB approved? CARB means California Air Resource Board. Has nothing to do with anyone outside of CA.

It's more than likely an accidental omission by Sparks, that's why websites like that have a disclaimer stating they are not responsible for misprints or omissions. The ONLY website that truely matters regarding CARB approval is the link I posted earlier; the California Air Resources Board does a wonderful job keeping it current.
