Tsudo install
My awesome girlfriend just suprised me by ordering me an exhaust! Man I'm lucky. Anybody had any experience installing a tsudo?
I installed my N1. Super easy, just be patient.
Cool man it's comin in Friday! I'm stoked
Just make sure you have everything before you install. They forgot to send me my donut gasket and bolts, I had to call them and they shipped them out free of charge, but I had to wait another week for the install.
Hopefully that will not be my case lol I'm too excited
But the fitment and all went well?
Go to Oreilly's and buy the 3" hanger for the exhaust hanger closest to the rear of the car. It'll stop you from getting bumper burn. It'll only cost $4 or so and will stop the exhaust from burning your rear bumper.
You can also search and see what other people have done to fix their bumper issues, some people cut the oem hanger, some stuff it..... |
I've already got that lol that's really the only problem I've seen a lot of out of it. Except for the guy that posted the PSA... But that was the only person I had seen with that many problems with one. I like the sound and the look isn't bad either.
Love the look and the sound, I got the titanium tip one.
Besides, I think they've revised the design since that guy's PSA too because I don't hear that many people complaining about those issues. Most of them are a pretty quick fix. |
Yea man I don't really care for performance on this car. I mean it looks good but doesn't run so hot lol so I'm just lookin for little quick fixes to make it look better and run a little better. So far I only have a cai and a system but I figured this would add a nice little touch after researching it! Thanks for all of the helpful info tho man!

did you get your exhaust yet? like Dude said, take your time. I installed my N1 about 2 years ago. Fitment was pretty good except for needing a longer hanger. I ended up cutting a 1" long section of pipe and stuck it in the stock hanger and secured it with zipties. other than that, i re-tightened all the bolts after about a week of driving.
Enjoy the exhaust! |
It should be in today!! I'm super stoked to hear that rumble!! Lol can you explain a little further how you rigged yours up with the pipe?
on the stock rubber hanger, there's space in between the two holes where the metal exhaust hangers would go. you'll know what i mean once you start. you can stretch the hanger and jam something in the space, like some people used a spare 22mm socket or something around that size. i ended up using some 1" dia. pipe i had laying around. it ends up elongating the rubber hanger maybe 3/4" or so. i then took a ziptie and ran it though the pipe and around the rubber hanger to keep it in place and not fall out while i was driving. hope this helps.
Oh yea I got ya!! Thanks so much!!!!!!
Get that sucker on there!
I am when it comes in!!!!!! Lol
Alright just got it in! It came with
-exhaust -gasket -2 nuts and bolts And a silencer which I am so gonna use.... Lol is this all its supposed to come with? |
Yeah, that should be it. Sounds like you just ordered the axleback portion. Axleback should only take you maybe 30 mins, just be sure to soak the exhaust hangers in PB Blaster/WD40 for a few mins before attempting to remove the exhaust.
Also, wear safety glasses. So much crap comes down at you while you're moving stuff... |
Yea I just got
The axleback I'm gunna get a headerback system once my warranty runs out so now I'm just adding stuff for looks and sounds! And I heard those hangers were real d***holes lol |
Hehehe... they can be. I recommend gloves, otherwise the palm of your hands might end up hurting really bad. Once you get them off the first time though, they're a cinch after that. I've had to keep taking them off and on when I was trying different exhaust hangers.
