Default Tuning an N/A with E-Manage Blue.

Does anyone know if these yields any benefits? I might be getting an e-manage for a decent price and while I'm N/A I figure I might as well try it out. I plan on going turbo in the future but I just want to try tuning the e-manage as N/A. So...any success guys?

That thread might help. It's with an E-manage Ultimate though.

Saw the thread. What I want to know is if the whole "ECU Relearning" is true and if the tune I do on the E-manage blue will eventually become useless.

i have done it before, i got like 8hp and tq lol, the only worhtwhile part of it is that peak tq came in lower at around 3600rpms instead of 3900rpms. Otherwise its not really worth it, it was hard to notice driving.

I see. Well, how about the whole ECU relearning issue? Anyway to stop it without having to do something like disconnecting the battery all the time?

I don't see why the ECU relearning would be an issue.
All it would do is help..

Well if the ECU relearns it would cancel the "tuning" that you've done. This is what I've heard is common on OBDII cars.

ecu only relearns the partial throttle tune.. which when n/a should be same as stock if not the ecu will make it stock, the ecu does not delete you WOT tune

Oh, okay. Makes sense. If it relearned the WOT tune, that would suck :D
