V6 tC 3.3L VVTi

Nice work on dropping a 3.3 in it, looks really nice, I only browsed the first couple pages of postings but I noticed you mentioned the S/C motors with the TRD.
TRD S/C is no longer produced and is not very reliable now I know tC has a nice low end torque to begin with and it was nice when the came out with the TRD S/C for it but like I said unreliable.
If you wanna get about 100whp give or take some out of it you can go and reprogram the VVT-i cam in the motor and since you seem to wanna stay on the cheap side you can go 5psi on a turbo set
with out having to pay the extra money for an Intercooler all the piping and tune.
Yes, I know someone will try and flame me on this but before you do I'm running:
2005 Scion tC, reprogrammed the VVT-i and I have it boosted 5psi, no Intercooler no tune putting down 293whp, yes that's not from the crank its to the wheels, seeing as the ECU for the Scion runs with
a 20-/20+ slop zone you have wiggle room with out needing to retune when your not making any major changes, my motor is fully stock internals been running this setup for 50k miles now no issues motor and chassis both sitting at 96,911.
Not trying to brag just saying if this guys going for reliability, cheap, and he wants a little more out of what he's done he has some options =D
(Correction) I may have been wrong now that I think about it this ECU might have a 15-/15+ slop zone.

I guess I'll be the first to flame. I call total BS on 5psi @ 293whp. It's pretty simple math and that doesn't add up. Pics and dyno proof please.

If the OP would be kind to PM me any/all info on this build that you have I would be extremely grateful!
This is an absolutely well crafted build!!!
