Default Vehicle Speed Sensor "A" Code P0500

I jst put a new motor in my car and everything fires up great. I get this p0500 vehicle speed sensor "A" code and when i drive it acts like it will cut off at certain times or feel like its going to cut out. But as i work the trottle lightly it pans out. If I drive a 2 mile radius or so or even 2 mils down the street, it does it a few times in that little amount of time. I cant find any good info on alldata nor online. If anybody could help that would be great.

You will need to inspect, possible replace, the vehicle speed sensor and/or wires.

Is it the one on the drivers side or passenger side?

I can't tell you which one, if not both, is malfunctioning so you will have to check both.
