What RMPs do you shift at??
 

When ever i shift from 2nd to 3rd anywhere over 5500RPMs my tc kinda clicks into 3rd . . . . Does anyone elses do that???????

Are you meaning it sounds like a grind?

I shift between 900-6000 RPM.

I guess this is why gas prices are so high?

Probably means RPMs. I shift 2000-3000 RPMs when I chill drive.

He said his "clicks into 3rd" when shifting over 5500rpms...

I don't think he's asking when do we shift under civil driving conditions.

This is the sound of your transmission changing gears. Mine does it too, yes.

usually mine doesnt make noise cause im actually good at shifting. :P . jk

clicks into third? are you an automatic because it does it for you....

i think its the tranny noise when changing gears that you hear.. like same noise you hear when you you engage to the gear hard, like a chak chak chak sound? a good gear oil might fix that

I try not to go past 6,000 RPM, 5,800 RPM is where the HP peaks, so it's pointless to go redline.

i was having a conversion with a girl about driving a manual transmission and looking at the tach for optimal shifts..

she said she doesnt pay much attention to it and i quote "i shift when hear my car goes vvvvrrRRRROOOMMM.. shift.. vvvvvvvrrRRROOMMM"

Yes, the optimal shift is made when you hear the ROOOMMM part of vvvvrrRRRROOOMMM.

eh when im trying to save gas its like 2800 but i normally am constant at 3k...
