Default When should one use a Fuel Controller (emanage)?

Will a DC header, down pipe, catback, denso plugs, and injen CAI make the tC rich enough to need a tune with a piggyback fuel controller? At what point will you need to use one? THANKS!!!

I think with those additions, you would benefit from a piggy back ecu comp. You would def benifit from a tune.

you could use a piggyback even if you dont have mods in your car. the more mods you have the more hp you're gonna get get with the piggyback. remember that everytime you add a new performance part for your car you have to tune it. I would suggest do all the mods first then the piggyback, youll save alot of dyno time and money if you do it after the mods.

It is my belief that whenever you add any part (with the exemption of an axle back) it does change the power curve or the way the maf sensor meters etc, it can cause you to run to lean and thats why you want to tune... most cases you can "get away with it" but you maybe causing damage to your car or your HP or your gas milage.

That being said, tuning isnt cheap (for when its done right) so its probably best if you save up and buy the parts, put them on at one time and get it tuned at that point.
