Whining from clutch (not squeaking)
I have an 05 tC and I just installed the competition stage 2 clutch with an OEM flywheel. It was fine for about 600 or 700 miles, after that everytime i start the car or engage the clutch there is a whining coming from the engine bay. (It's not a squeak as I see in many threads)
Have you ever heard a car with a bad power steering pump??
Yeah, it sounds like that, but its only when the clutch is engaged. The sound can also be heard from the outside of the car. The pedal feels slightly spongey and occasionally there is a "click" in the pedal that I can feel up my calf...
Any suggestions??? I'm really lost here and I don't think the system needs to be bled again. PLEASE HELP!!!

so it goes away when u press the clutch all the way down, how about releasing the clutch slowly? Does it stay quiet or does it feel kind of grindy when it starts to make the noise? And at what point going up does it start to make the noise?

Check your nuts and bolts holding the tranny to the engine first and start thinking about another throwout bearing. If there is a vent or drain under the bell housing check for metal dust or slivers of metal or greasy oil leaking too.
