Default would i be able to cut cat off...

ok so I just sold my header and s-pipe on here a few weeks ago because i'm going turbo mid june. so after i removed my header i seem to have lost some low rpm power. I was wondering if anyone has removed their primary cat off their stock header and put a straight 3 inch pipe down till the s-pipe. I weld at my house so money to get it done is no problem. has anyon done it? or should i try it?

If you're going turbo... just wait it out. You'll only have that OEM header until mid-June.

sounds like a questionable idea. have you removed your head shields? theres not much to that header.
