We have made more power than any other header currently available. Of the headers we have produced, there have been no issues with cracking, rusting, etc. This header is a RACE ONLY header, as it eliminates the cat convertor, and is NOT SMOG legal. Take a good look outside the tC community, at race headers for any other make or model. You will not find a true, full length race header for much less than $1000.

If anyone wishes to to reference our RACE HEADER history, the best and most common example is our Honda B-Series race header. It is a very popular piece, and has sold out everytime we stock it. It also retails for $900.
I am not saying your product is bad in any way. I am just more curious as to why it is good . Most of the folks on here have basicly stock engines. It would be more informative for everyone if you were to take a stock TC and do some serious baseline testing and get a good working average HP and Torque baseline for THAT car, then turn around and bolt on your header and do some more testing(averaging a series of pulls to keep standard deviation in check)and then give us some reliable info. It might also be interesting to take a stock exhaust and gut the converter and then test it too. I have always been under the impression that reasonable people, equally informed, seldom disagree. If only we could all be equally informed. Also you state the quality of your header is good. Is it better than stock? The factory header is 301 stainless from flange to collector and I have never heard of one cracking. This header may indeed provide a power gain, I am just wondering exactly how much for $900. I did not mean to berate anyone for not knowing something, I just wish some could be more informed consumers. There have been a few products and theories bandied about on this forum that are absolutely incorrect or useless. I make no apologies for stating the obvious. Not to single you out on purpose, but merely as an example, SupaWhiteTC paid $180 for a set of Nology wires and posted how great they were and where to get them, and then when they arrived and were installed, posted that he couldn't tell any difference, but at least they didn't HURT the power. Hey guys, I was young once too and did plenty of really stupid stuff, but I learned a few things along the way. I just hate to see some guys buying into hype and not making informed decisions. Always remember, HP measured at the brochure is usually greater than HP measured in reality. All I am saying is before you plunk down all your hard-earned money, know exactly what it is that you are getting. If you know and decide it is worth it to you, then you will be making an informed purchase.

Excellent reply Scott, very informative yet civil. These are the types of responses these forums needs more of. No bashing or flaming, just a solid opinion.

I also must state that I never bashed or flamed anyone. Some of these "victims" were the guys that called me an idiot and a **** holster ( which I thought was very creative! ) I don't mind how you express your self to me, just say what's on your mind. All discussion is good for someone!

We are looking at a tentative arrival date from the factory in May. I'll keep everyone updated as info arrives.

no clue but its less than that...but probably only by a little bit... not sure... I do know that alphawerks with there header, exhaust, intake, and throttle body only made 24 hp and that is probably 2 grand worth of their stuff so personally I think alphawerks is pretty weak.

Thats just ridicuous $900 im sorry man.

Im going Alpha I/H and CC Exhaust
Same Gains ? We don't know anything about it yet... if its a true racing header it would be worth it b/c it could add 25 hp.
wow i dont know of many turbo headers adding that amount of horsepower let alone an NA header....anyhows this topic has gone way off the deep end with people flaming others this forum is starting to look alot like clubsi.com where everybody has got to get the last word, can anybody direct me to the next scion site where i can read about the cars and not what everybody wants to say about each others moms and whatnot thanks,

Right now the headers that are street legal throw the CEL but if I were you and didn't get the weapon-r header I would suggest maybe waiting a few months and see what else comes out and just go to another mod... like I was gonna wait to finish my audio and cosmetic type mods but since all the suspension stuff hasn't been released and the TRD supercharger and greddy turbo are still in the works I am gonna finish my custom sub setup... put in my speakers and dynamat, and buy fiber fx CF hood and hatch, and re-do the interior with sparco components and install a cf dash... So just go onto something else you want to do.
