Default 05 1st Gen tC Custom Turbo kit.

New to the forum and im just curious to what people think of my setup...little info on the whole thing, got it for crazy-crackhead cheap from someone who claimed to have had it on their 1st Gen and made 422whp @16lbs..to say the least,I talked him down to the price I couldnt pass up..he gave me the following: Garret t3/t4 60-1/48 rear..Turbonetics wastegate w 8lb spring..BMPC fmic 24x12x3..HKS SSQbov 3rd gen..cast iron (POS) manifold -which I upgraded to a completely custom "medusa" high grade race manifold-..all the piping..manual boost controller and 3 guages(boost, oil press,a/f)......So not bad.....I also added new Deautschwork 550cc injectors aswell as TRD reflash on the ecu, still untuned. I have also eliminated the cat for a straight 2.5" pipe with a regency titanium muffler...

Im stuck between getting an AEM FI/C,A Greddy ULTIMATE,or just saying f-ck the bs and goin Megasquirt full stand alone..

Ill post pics soon of my baby so you can enjoy it as much as I do.

With 550's and a TRD flashed ecu its prob running rich as hell, too much fuel will cause the car to break up bad. Is youre afr pegged rich at wot?

To be honest im not sure, the current lean/rich guage I have in doesnt work.I ordered an AEM UEGO this week so Ill have it in asap..It ran hard for the 6 months I had it at .5 bar even at wot and it would hold up fine..since the wfp the car has definately been running richer but its better a bit more fuel, rather than leaning it out at wot..also still on a stock original clutch with 95k miles on it lol, still ripps 3rd but since I bought the car back in 05 while working at Scion.bought it with 3 miles on it.Im the only owner...come from a line of racing. Not new to the scene by any means nescessary.

I say get an FIC and that Wideband AFR gauge ASAP. Also I believe people are having trouble with the TRD tune pulling too much timing so making good power may be a little tricky with the TRD tune.

Standalone > Greddy Ultimate > AEM F/IC

In that order. Get rid of that TRD reflashed ECU completely and get you another stock ECU. Don't know why people keep flashing with TRD when they are running a Turbo setup. It was not meant to be ran on a Turbo. It's not programmed to run 550cc injectors.

No I placed a T fitting so it could flow from the head to the return line and the oil pressure guage.
