I guess it is time for someone to try and get the v-manage to work with our cars. So the new thing might be AEM FIC and Greddy V-Manage
This will be a lot more beneficial with a cam upgrade of course.
Blah if you're going to spend $400 on the FIC, then $625 on the V-Manage, then $300 on a PnP harness....You might as well spend the extra $600 and get the standalone and have 100% control over the engine.
i could have sworn the f/ic had vvt-i control, oh well. i guess +1 for me for not buying it.

Well that would be $600 for a v-manage kit which will come with a PNP harness for another car. If you wait for the universal then it will be cheaper. Also you are not forced to get a PNP harness and probably would be easier and cleaner if you spliced into the factory wiring or just a cheap extension harness. Yes a standalone would be nicer but having the factory base map is so much better in my opinion especially if you are going to be doing your own tuning.
